Flax Cottage is a 1 bedroom self contained luxury cottage. The Cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Bay View just 10 minutes from Napier CBD and overlooking neighbouring vineyards. At Flax Cottage enjoy complete privacy and relaxation with expansive ocean and city views.

  • Flax Cottage has 1 separate large bedroom with a luxurious King Size bed fitted with a superior mattress, choice of pillows, luxurious linen and bedspreads.
  • 100% handmade cotton bed linen & comforter.
  • Bathroom with shower, hairdryer and robes
  • Self catering Kitchen facilities, there is no oven but a microwave instead, 4 burner gas hob and outside BBQ
  • Basic pantry items
  • Comfortable lounge and dining
  • Flat screen TV, DVD & entertainment system.
  • Expansive outdoor decks and seating with BBQ facilities
  • Modern and tastefully decorated including local art.
  • Generous Breakfast provisions for each morning, which includes freshly baked breads or pastries, organic muesli, local cheese homemade fruity yoghurt, seasonal fruit platter and a selection of special fruit preserves. The breakfast provisions menu changes daily and is topped up as required
  • A bottle of local Hawkes Bay wine (one per stay).
  • The cottage is serviced on a daily basis (or as requested if you wish to be left alone).
  • The cottage is not suitable for children but if you have a young baby, arrangements can be made for a portable cot.
  • Free high speed wireless internet connection and phone

  • You are welcome to bring along your much-loved dog to share the weekend. We are a dog friendly property and will even provide a large comfortable kennel on the deck if required with its own drinking bowl. Just bring your dog's sleeping mat and some food, we will provide the rest.
