This house is situated ten mins drive outside of the tourist town of Hikkaduwa with a deserted beach at the back of the garden. The pool is a welcome reward to the searing heat if the sea isn't your preference to cool off. The villa is spacious, well equipped and clean, all with air conditioned rooms which is vital. The staff are the happiest and friendliest staff in the world, nothing is too much trouble and they are dedicated it making your stay the best it could be. The food on sight is amazing and varied and better than you can get in most restaurants for a reasonable price. If you choose this as your holiday destination, you will not be disappointed.

Upol picked us up after 1am from the airport and a snooze in the car later we arrived at this magic place with waves virtually at our feet, a full moon and the grand Indian Ocean right in front of us. In awe we went asleep in the beautiful ocean front suite too excited to sleep and when we did - to the sound of the ocean - we slept beautifully every single night. We woke up to a paradise beach, a calm locals beach where we swam every day, met the locals and indulged in beautiful food cooked by the excellent team. Udith and his team looked after us like royalty and organised transfers, cooking classes, inside information as well as being wonderful company and enriching our horizons as we learned about the country. Udith - also a tour operator - devised a fabulous tour together with the wonderful owner Suzanne for us. I usually organise my own tours but this was insider information and once we had to leave this magic place, we were in for an amazing tour of the country far off the beaten track. Great food, great team, fabulous surroundings and simply a magic place. We can't wait to go back and thank Suzanne, Udith and of course Upol, our wonderful driver who became a friend. Thank you. We rented this villa between 3 couples for 6 nights. The villa is lovely and basically has its own private beach. The villa is nicely fitted out with lovely bedrooms and ensuites. The only issue was the 2 bedrooms closer to the roads side did have some traffic noise. The whole stretch of coast has the road close to the ocean so the choice is either, be beachside with some traffic noise or be on the other side of the road away from the beach and have what I would assume would be quiet – I know which I would prefer!! The pool and garden area is just lovely and although there are 4 apartments on the same property, Udith ensured that there was no cross pollination in the pool/gardens between the apartments & the villas. Food was wonderful and the villa cleaned daily & bedding changed midway through our stay – all great! Great for a group of 6-8 people
